When you hear fax tones from the remote fax machne, press <Start>.
If a person answers the phone, use the handset to tell that person that you are
tryng to send a fax. When you hear fax tones, press <Start>.
If you are usng the handset, hang up after pressng <Start>.
NOTE
When you are usng a handset, f the "User Access/Cost Accountng" or "Network
authentcaton" feature s actvated and you have not logged-n to the machne, the
"Logn Requred" message wll appear after you press <Start>.
In ths case, perform the followng procedure wthn 30 seconds.
(1) Press <FAX>.
(2) Perfom the logn procedure.
(3) Press <FAX>, then <Start>.
NOTE
• If the call fals when you use [Montor] to dal, press [Montor] to hang up.
• To cancel the transmsson, use the Revew Commands feature. (See "Revewng
or cancelng commands" on page 4-26.)
