The Océ fx2081 (hereafter referred to as "product"), comples wth Part 68 of the
FCC rules and the requrements adopted by the ACTA. On the rear panel of the
product s a label that contans, among other nformaton, a product dentfier n
the format US:IMGFA23B005C. If requred, ths number must be provded to the
telephone company.
The REN s used to determne the number of devces that may be connected to a
telephone lne. Excessve RENs on a telephone lne may result n the devces not
rngng n response to an ncomng call. In most, but not all areas, the sum of RENs
should not exceed five (5.0). To be certan of the number of devces that may be
connected to a lne, as determned by the total RENs, contact the local telephone
company. The REN for ths product s part of the product dentfier that has the
format US:IMGFA23B005C. The dgts represented by "23B" are the REN wthout
a decmal pont.
The product s desgned for use on standard-devce telephone lnes. The product
connects to the telephone lne wth a standard lne called the USOC RJ-11C.
Any plug and jack used to connect the product to the wrng and telephone network
of the premses must comply wth the applcable Part 68 of the FCC rules and the
requrements adopted by the ACTA. A complant telephone cord and modular plug
s provded wth ths product. It s desgned to be connected to a compatble modu-
lar jack that s also complant. See nstallaton nstructons for detals.
If the product causes harm to the telephone network, the telephone company wll
notfy you n advance that temporary dscontnuance of servce may be requred.
If advance notce sn't practcal, the telephone company wll notfy you as soon as
possble and may advse you of your rght to file a complant wth the FCC f you
beleve t s necessary.
The telephone company may make changes n ts facltes, equpment, operatons
or procedures that could affect the operaton of the product. If ths happens, the
telephone company wll provde advance notce n order for you to make necessary
modficatons to mantan unnterrupted servce.

For further repar or warranty nformaton, please contact Océ Natonal Dagnostc
Center at 1-800-243-5556. If the product s causng harm to the telephone network,
the telephone company may request that you dsconnect the product untl the
problem s resolved.
Connecton to party lne servce s subject to state tarffs. Contact the state publc
utlty commsson, publc servce commsson, or corporaton commsson for nfor-
maton.
If your home has specally wred alarm equpment connected to the telephone lne,
ensure the nstallaton of the product does not dsable your alarm equpment. If
you have questons about what wll dsable alarm equpment, consult your tele-
phone company or a qualfied nstaller.
