Load the paper nto the cassette.
NOTE
• Before you nsert paper n the cassette, stack t so the leadng edge and sdes of
the paper are even.
• Do not stack the paper over the lmt mark nsde of the cassette.
• To prevent paper jams, do not refill the paper cassette wthout first removng
any remanng paper. In other words, do not just add sheets to an already-loaded
stack.

Pnch the sde paper gude and adjust to the wdth of the stack.

Close the paper cassette.

After loadng paper n the paper cassette, you need to set the paper sze.
(See "Settng the paper sze" on page 1-40.)

Attach the paper sze stcker suppled wth your machne to the front of the
cassette.
