WINS server address

Specfies that you want to use Wndows Internet Namng Servce (WINS) resolu-
ton. To enable WINS resoluton, enter the WINS server address.

Open the SMB settng menu dsplay. (Refer to page 9-36.)

Press [WINS1].

Enter the approprate IP address of the WINS server usng the numerc keys.
Press the arrow keys to navgate the IP address fields. To delete a number,
press [Clear].

Press [Enter]. The dsplay returns to the SMB settng menu.

If necessary, repeat the above steps to enter the [WINS2] address (secondary
WINS server).
NOTE
If you do not wsh to set a secondary WINS server enter "0.0.0.0" or press [Clear] to
delete the IP address.

When you have finshed, press <Reset> to return to the Standby mode.

After you have finshed regsterng the network settngs please reboot the
machne to enable the new settngs. To reboot the machne, shutdown the Offi-
ceDrector first, then turn the machne OFF and after three or more seconds,
turn the machne back ON. (See "Turnng off the power," page 1-18.)
