Send documents to an e-mail gate-
way (fax servers)
When ths feature s actvated, you can send documents to an e-mal gateway (fax
server) by smply enterng the fax number. The machne wll automatcally add
a prefix and suffix to the fax number you have entered and send t to the e-mal
gateway.
NOTE
The followng functons are not able to combne wth sendng faxes usng the e-mal
gateway:
• Real-tme transmsson
• Pollng
• F-Code transmsson or F-Code pollng
• Manual lne selecton (Ths functon s only avalable when the optonal second
phone lne module s attached.)
Setting up the e-mail gateway feature

Press <Settng>, [Management], [Prev], [e-mal Gateway].
The e-mal gateway menu wll appear.

Set the followng tems accordng to the e-mal gateway request.
• Settng – If you want the machne to always send fax documents to an e-mal
• Pre-Fx – Enter the prefix that should added before the fax number.
• Suffix – Enter the Suffix that should be added after the fax number.
NOTE
• Total characters of prefix, fax number and suffix should be wthn 50 characters.
• For specfic prefix and suffix nformaton, please refer to the e-mal gateway docu-
mentaton.

Press [Enter] to save the settngs.

(For example, "@domain name") You can enter up to 48 characters.
