Displayed error messages

Occasonally, your machne encounters some trouble transmttng or recevng docu-
ments. When t does an alarm wll sound alertng you to the ssue. You can dentfy
the problem by readng the dsplayed or prnted messages.

You tred to set [Sort] to [OFF] whle Duplex Copy. Duplex Copy should be com-
bned wth sort.
You cannot add/enter destnatons to the Address Book whle selectng other
destnatons.
You tred to make a Card Copy usng the ADF. Use the document glass.
You tred to select a number that has already been selected. Enter a dfferent
number.
You tred to scan to folder wth files attached and save them to the same folder
where the attached files are orgnally saved.
You cannot set "0000" as an I.D. Code for Securty box.
The advanced search faled due to an nternal machne error. Check the LDAP
server settng agan, and try the search agan. For more nformaton about LDAP
server set up, see page 9-54 on ths manual, or "Network Configuraton" n Chapter
4, "Usng the Admn Tools," n the PC User's Guide.
LDAP server has not been set up. To use the advanced search, set up the LADP
server on your machne pror to searchng. For more nformaton, see page 9-54 on

Auto rato s selected automatcally.
To specfy the zoom rato, press [Zoom] and enter your desred zoom rato.
You tred to erase an F-Code box whch contans at least one document.
Erase the document(s), then try agan.
You tred to set Broadcast to [OFF] after multple destnatons have been selected.
