After loadng paper nto the bypass tray, you need to set the correct paper sze.
(See "Settng the paper sze," below.)
NOTE
You can also set the paper sze for bypass tray by pressng [Bypass] n the Copy
standby mode.

Setting the paper size

Default settng: 1st cassette: Letter, 2nd cassette (option): Letter, Bypass Tray: Letter
After loadng paper nto the paper cassette/bypass tray, you need to set the correct
paper sze on the control panel by usng the followng procedure.

Press <Settng> on the control panel.

Press [Paper Settngs].

Press [Cassette 1] or [Cassette 2].
NOTE
[Cassette 2] appears only when the optonal second cassette has been nstalled on
the machne.
