Registering program one-touch keys (Mode 1)
In Mode 1, you must regster a PIN to the program one-touch key. Transmsson
wll not be possble f a PIN number has not been regstered. If Mode 2 has been
set, the followng procedure s not necessary.

Regsterng or edtng an entry usng the program one-touch keys.
(See page 5-50, f necessary.)

Enter the phone number, then press < > ("star") to enter the PIN.
The PIN always follows the fax number.
For example, to dal 98776544 wth a PIN of "12345678", enter
98776544*12345678.

Use the address book and specfy the number that contans the PIN number.
NOTE
You cannot specfy the destnaton f a PIN has not been regstered. For detals on
regsterng a PIN number n the address book, see "Regsterng the address book
(Mode 1)" on page 5-64.

Press [Enter] to save the number.
• If you press [Enter] wthout enterng the PIN, the machne wll beep and
dsplay "The followng data s requred: PIN", and then return to step 2.
Press <Reset> to return to the standby mode.

(1) Press [Others] and regster the advanced communcatons.
(2) Press [Enter] twce to save the settngs.
