Sending an Internet fax

Set the document.

Press <Fax> to dsplay the Fax standby mode.

Adjust the scannng resoluton and contrast, f necessary. (See page 4-17.)

Specfy the destnaton.
NOTE
• When you enter the destnaton, [Locaton] s dsplayed on the dsplay. To check or
delete an entered destnaton, press [Locaton] (page 4-24).
Using the QWERTY keypad

(1) Press the "e-mal" tab.
(2) Press [Mal Address].
(3) Enter the e-mal address, and then press [Enter].
• Up to 50 characters can be entered for each e-mal address.
• If you enter an ncorrect number, press [Delete] and delete t.
Using the address book

(1) Press [Page Up] or [Page Down] to dsplay the desred destnaton.
(2) Press the destnaton. The document s scanned and transmsson starts.
If you want to specfy multple destnatons, use broadcast transmsson (see
page 4-23.) or call group dalng (see page 3-23).
NOTE
• To use the address book, you should regster the destnatons n advance.
• For detals on usng the address book, see "Usng the address book" (page 3-1).
