Transmission resolution

To change the scannng resoluton:

Press [Resoluton] on the Fax mode screen.

Select the desred resoluton.
• Normal s sutable for most text documents and smple drawngs.
• Fine s deal for maps, moderately complcated drawngs, floorplans or hand-
wrtten documents.
• Superfine ("S-Fne" on the dsplay) reproduces the detal of extremely com-
plcated drawngs or lne art.
• Photo ("Photo" on the dsplay) captures shades n photos and drawngs.

Press [Enter].
NOTE
• The "S-Fne" mode mght not always be supported by the recevng machne.
• A longer transmsson tme s requred for each ncreasng level of resoluton from
normal mode to photo mode.
• You can change the default settng for [Resoluton]. See "Accessng the default fax
settngs" on page 9-6.
