Select the document type you want to scan.
NOTE
Ths functon s not avalable when scannng a color document.

Press <SCAN> on the control panel.

Press [e-mal], [Folder], [FTP], [User], or [Bulletn Board].
NOTE
When you press [User] or [Bulletn Board], the machne prompts you to logn as an
OfficeDrector user.

Press [Doc. Type].
Text .......Select ths when scannng text documents.
Auto ...... Select ths when scannng documents contanng photographs or draw-
Photo .....Select ths when scannng photographs or drawngs.

Select the desred document type.

Press [Enter].
NOTE
You can change the default settng for "Doc.Type". See "Accessng the default scan
settngs" on page 9-10.
