Registering a folder shortcut from the browse screen
After you find the folder you wsh to scan to you may regster t as a folder shortcut,
allowng for nstant network scannng to a specfied folder. Up to 300 shortcuts can
be regstered.

After you locate your desred folder, select the locaton and press [Bookmark].

Press [Yes].

Regster the "Shortcut Name", "UserName", "Password" and "Automatc Net-
work Logn" as needed.
• Shortcut Name — Ths s the name that wll be dsplayed on the shortcut
key. The name can contan up to 24 characters. If you do not regster a short-
cut name, the folder lnk wll be dsplayed on the shortcut key.
• User Name, and Password — If you have entered a user name and pass-
word they wll be dsplayed (the password wll be dsplayed usng astersks).
• Automatic Network Login — Whenever a folder requrng a password and
a user account s accessed, the machne wll automatcally send them to the
computer when n the "ON" settng, but wll ask you to enter them when n
the "Off" settng.
