Functon Descrpton
Protect You can regster the protect passcode requred for usng the
Passcode securty functons.
To change the protect code, you must enter the old one first.
Enter 0000 to delete the protect passcode.
User You can lmt machne access by requrng a passcode pror
Access/Cost to usage. Also, you can regster the charge per sheet of copy,
Accountng fax, scan, and prnter f you want to collect charges and bll
users.
Securty You can use ths functon to receve and store faxes n
Recepton memory, but not prnt them. Ths functon s useful when no
one s n the office, for example, at nght. You can prnt them
later.
Fax Receive Document
Dsplay
Jobs n Dsplays the number of out-of-paper receptons.
Reserved Copy
Queue
Dsplays the copes watng to be prnted s dsplayed.
Copy Prohbts copyng.
Protect When pressed ON, the dsplay wll not swtch to the copy
mode even f <COPY> s pressed.
Fax & copy mode wll not be possble.
PIN Mode When pressng [Mode 1] or [Mode 2] f requred to enter
the PIN (personal dentficaton number) for makng a long
dstance call, the PIN wll not appear n a journal, error
message prntout or a transmt confirmaton report.
e-mal When ths functon s actvated, you can send documents to
Gateway an e-mal gateway (fax server) by smply enterng the fax
number.
Scan Lamp You can specfy the sleep perod of the scanner lamp to
Sleep Mode prolong ts lfe.
Whle scanner lamp s n the sleep mode, t wll take a few
moments to lght the scanner lamp completely to scan a
document.
Doman You can regster up to 10 doman name extensons for your
Name convenence
Extensons
User Logn When ths functon s actvated, the machne prompts the
Settng users to logn to the machne pror to usng the machne.
So, you can restrct that only the OfficeDrector user can use
the machne.
Scan to Clear the prnter regstered for "Scan to Prnter".
Prnter In case the personal computer s n trouble accessng the
Clear network, use ths functon to delete the regstered prnter.
The underlned settngs are factory defaults.
