Scanning contrast

Settng the scannng contrast allows you to compensate for any excessve lghtness

or darkness, as the case may be, of the document pages you are sendng.

To change the scannng contrast:

Press [Contrast] on the Fax mode screen.

Select the desred contrast.

Darkest .... To scan at the darkest contrast

Darker ...... Between darkest and normal

Normal ...... For normal documents

Lghter ...... Between lghtest and normal

Lghtest .... To scan at the lghtest contrast

Press [Enter].

You can change the default settng for [Contrast]. See "Accessng the default fax

settngs" on page 9-6.
