Cable CPE Commands
Usage Guidelines
This command enables the sending of SNMP traps when DOCSIS-related events occur. Multiple traps
can be enabled at the same time.
Note
The traps are described in the DOCS-CABLE-DEVICE-TRAP-MIB MIB, which is an extension of the
CABLE DEVICE MIB that is defined in RFC 2669.
Examples
The following example shows the BPI+ and secure software download traps being enabled:
Router# config terminal
Router(config)# snmp-server enable traps docsis-cm bpi bpkm swupcvc swupfail swupinit
swupsucc
Router(config)#
