Recording Received Audio When a User Is Away from the Transceiver
(Auto Reply Message)
Auto Reply Message can be used to record a voice message even if a user is away from the transceiver.
Auto Reply Message is used with FleetSync or NXDN Individual Calls.
When the transceiver completes recording audio, the audio data is automatically stored in the VGS-1 flash memory. A user
can hear stored audio by using Message Playback.
An Auto Reply Message recording channel can be configured in steps of 30 sec using KPG-111D/ DN. If "Disable" is
configured for Auto Reply Message, Auto Reply Message cannot be used.
Auto Reply Message can be configured in steps of 30 sec, but an Auto Reply Message can actually be recorded in steps
of 15 sec.
If 60 sec is configured for Auto Reply Message, a maximum of 4 Auto Reply Messages (15 sec x 4 memos = 60 sec) can
be recorded.
Pressing the Auto Reply Message key causes Auto Reply Message to be enabled.
Auto Reply Message is also enabled when "Auto Reply Message" is selected after entering Menu Mode by pressing the
Menu key. (Refer to 3.4 Using Menu Mode on page
Auto Reply Message can be activated if the transceiver receives a FleetSync or NXDN call while Auto Reply Message is
enabled.
Note
• If Auto Reply Message is not configured for the Auto Reply Message key or the Menu key, Auto Reply Message is automatically
enabled when the transceiver is turned ON.
• Maximum recording time for Auto Recording, Voice Memo and Auto Reply Message is 300 sec in total.
• Auto Reply Message cannot be activated if Voice Memo Mode or Playback Mode is active.
• Auto Reply Message cannot be activated if the transceiver receives on a conventional channel where "Mixed" is configured for
Channel Type an NXDN Individual Call when "Analog" is configured for Transmit Mode or receives a FleetSync Individual Call when
"NXDN" is configured for Transmit Mode.
• This function is unavailable for NX-200S/ NX-300S.
