Note
• Maximum recording time for Auto Recording, Voice Memo and Auto Reply Message is 300 sec in total.
• Auto Reply Message Mode cannot be activated while Voice Memo Mode is active.
• The transceiver may not be able to record the beginning of the audio if GPS Data Storage is enabled.
• This function is unavailable for NX-200S/ NX-300S.
Operating the Transceiver
 Recording the audio signals

Press the
Voice Memo
The transceiver enters Voice Memo Mode and then starts
recording audio.
The recording start time and remaining time for recording appear
on the main display.
The following operations are identical even if the transceiver
enters Voice Memo Mode by a user pressing the Menu key.

The transceiver stops recording. The transceiver also finishes
recording when the recording time elapses.
The audio data is written to the flash memory.
Note
• If the Latest Received Message Stack is disabled, and the maximum number of messages have already been recorded, "MEMORY
FULL" appears for 1 sec, and then the transceiver automatically exits Voice Memo Mode.
• If an error occurs in the VGS-1, "VGS ERROR" appears for 1 sec, and then the transceiver automatically exits Voice Memo Mode. To
record a message again on the recording channel on which an error occurred, the recorded data of the recording channel must be
deleted using Message Playback. (Refer to
