In an LTR Trunking system, the transceiver can connect to a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) via the Repeater
Interconnect (RIC), which is a repeater connected to a telephone line.
A repeater used in an LTR Trunking system can be configured as the RIC Repeater by using KPG-111D/ DN.

Calling a Telephone Number
Pressing the PTT switch causes the transceiver to connect to a telephone line and initiate a call by manually or
automatically specifying the phone number.
Operating the Transceiver

Select the group for which a Telephone ID is configured.

Configure the telephone number of the target transceiver using Autodial. (Refer to
Sending the DTMF Code on page

Press the
PTT
switch.
The transceiver automatically connects to a telephone line, and then the transceiver will call the telephone number.
