5.9 Display Functions of Sub-display

Note
• This function can be used only if "NXDN Unit ID" is configured for Message Type.
• If this function is disabled, the Unit ID (Own) of the system configured as Home System appears when the transceiver is turned ON.

Display Functions of Sub-display
The transceiver sub-display can display a maximum of 3 characters.
The following functions are relevant to the sub-display.

Sub-LCD Display

Call Indicator
Note
These functions are unavailable for NX-200S/ NX-300S.
Sub-LCD Display
Sub-LCD Display can be used to display the transceiver information on the sub-display while the transceiver is in the
normal state. (Refer to
1.5 About LCD on page
Configuration
None
Nothing appears.
Zone Number
Zone number appears.
CH/GID Number
Channel or GID number appears.
OST List Number
OST List number appears.
GPS Status
GPS positioning status appears.
The site number of the fixed site appears while Site Lock is enabled.
The site number of the current site appears if the transceiver has acquired a control channel while Site Lock
Site Number
is disabled. The site number does not appear if the transceiver does not acquire a control channel while Site
Lock is disabled.
Note
Site Number can be used only in an NXDN Trunking system.
