16.4 Indication and Sound in Emergency Mode
Emergency Display
Emergency Display is the function to display the preconfigured text message on the transceiver main display or retain the
display appearance before the transceiver enters Emergency Mode.
Configuration
The previously selected channel or GID is retained on the main display even if the transceiver enters Emergency
Selected
Mode.
A preconfigured text message for the Emergency Text appears on the main display when the transceiver enters
Text
Emergency Mode.
Note
This function is unavailable for NX-200S/ NX-300S.

Emergency Mode Type
Emergency Mode Type is the function to determine whether the received audio or various tones are muted while the
transceiver is in Emergency Mode.
Configuration
Silent
The transceiver mutes the received audio and various tones while in Emergency Mode.
The transceiver emits the received audio and various tones in the same manner as in normal mode even while in
Audible
Emergency Mode.
