4 TRANSMISSION/ RECEPTION
4.5 Displaying the Signal Strength Level (RSSI Level) (Maintenance Display)
 For an NXDN Trunking system

Press the
Maintenance
The channel number and RSSI level configured for Frequency
Table appear.
Pressing the Left key switches the display, and then the site
number and channel number appear. Pressing the Left key can
switch the display. However, only the site name appears if Site
Name is configured and the channel number does not appear.

The channel number configured for Frequency Table switches.
Pressing the Left key switches the display. If the selected
channel number satisfies conditions to hunt for a control channel,
the site number and channel number (or, site name) appears.
Pressing the Left key can switch the display.
If the selected channel number does not satisfy conditions to hunt
for a control channel, the transceiver will be in the Out of Service
state, and then the RSSI icon will blink. In this case, the site
number does not appear.
Note
• The PTT switch can be used even if the transceiver is in Maintenance Display Mode. However, the PTT switch cannot be used if the
transceiver is in Out of Service state in an NXDN Trunking system.
• While this function is in use, Battery Saver is disabled. (NX-200/ NX-210/ NX-300/ NX-410/ NX-411 only)
• In an NXDN Trunking system, the display is renewed at intervals of 1 frame.
• Even if "Maintenance" is selected after the transceiver enters Menu Mode by pressing the Menu key, the operation above is enabled.
• If the transceiver enters Maintenance Display Mode while Site Lock is enabled, Site Lock will temporarily be disabled. In this case, Site
Lock will be enabled upon the end of Maintenance Display Mode.
• If the transceiver enters Maintenance Display Mode while the transceiver is outside of the communication area,the channel number
retained in the transceiver appears.
