• The number of transmission bytes/communication cycle/number of retry stations/number
of slave stations
The number of transmitted bytes, communication cycle, number of retry stations and number of slave sta-
tions when self-configuration is executed are automatically set based on conditions including the communi-
cation type, Master/Slave status, and highest slave station number (the highest among the detected slave
station numbers).

Display during Self-configuration
Displays the communication cycle.
The indication differs depending on the com-
munication type and the master/slave dis-
tinction, and so on. For details, refer to The
number of transmission bytes/communica-
tion cycle/number of retry stations/number of
slave stations below.
This is a setting that is not used with
MECHATROLINK transmission.
Displays whether or not SigmaWin+ can be
used via a MECHATROLINK-II adapter
such as JUSP-NP115 in MECHATROLINK
communications.
Displays the maximum number of stations to
which transmissions (retries) are sent in one
transmission cycle when a normal response
has not been received from a slave station.
Displays the number of slave stations that
can be connected.
The indication differs depending on the com-
munication type, communication cycle,
whether or not SigmaWin+ is used, and the
number of retry stations.
Displays whether CPU processing waits for
Optional SVB Module monitor parameter
scan delays (Enable) or not (Disable).

Options and Precautions on Settings
This can only be set when the communication
type is MECHATROLINK-II and the Master/
Slave selection is "Master." The values that can
be set differ for Built-in SVB Modules and
Optional SVB Modules.
Use the default value (0).
Select either "Used" or "Not Used."
A value in the range 0 to 7 can be set, for "Mas-
ter" stations only. No setting can be made for
"Slave" stations.
Cannot be set.
Select either "Enable" or "Disable."

page.
