(l) When the following operations are performed, the status changes from the slave CPU syn-
chronous status to the asynchronous status.

On resetting to the slave CPU synchronous status, the scan cycle may be disrupted.
(m) When a communication error has occurred, the status changes from the slave CPU syn-
chronous status to the asynchronous status.
(n) When the setting of the MP2100M Built-in SVB Module has been changed from slave to
master, save the settings in flash memory and then turn the power OFF and back ON.
(o) The slave CPU synchronization function can only be executed when an MP2000 series
SVB Module is used as the master device. If connected to another master controller, oper-
ation will be asynchronous.
(p) When the Built-in SVB Module of an MP2100M is set as a slave and the SVB-01 Module
of an SVB Board is set as the master device, do not make the connections so that a loop
is formed as shown in the figure below.
