Note: 1. "Possible" in the Modification column in the table means that the setting can be changed. Always
(2) Self-configuration
The self-configuration function automatically recognizes the Optional Modules mounted on the MP2100/
MP2100M, creates definition files such as the module configuration definition file, MECHATROLINK transmis-
sion definition file, and SVB definition file. Also, module definition data can be automatically refreshed by exe-
cuting the self-configuration function when starting the MP2100M or anytime thereafter.
Note: 1. For information on how to execute the self-configuration function, refer to 5.4.2 Procedure for Self-config-
uration Using Mode Switch and 5.4.3 Procedure for Self-configuration Using MPE720.
2. For details on definition information that is updated by the self-configuration function, refer to 5.4.4 Defini-
tion Data Updated by Self-configuration.

whether the I/O Module is connected or not connected to MECHATROLINK.
