The following specifications are published from the
latest information available at the time of publica­
tion. I f a n y t h i n g differs between the specifica­
tions found on t h e Vehicle Emission C o n t r o l
I n f o r m a t i o n (VECI) label and the following
specifications, use specifications on V E C I label.
The VECI label is located in the engine compart­
ment.
DRIVE BELT TENSION
All engines are equipped with a spring loaded au­
tomatic belt tensioner. Do not attempt to check belt
tension with a belt tension gauge on vehicles
equipped with an automatic belt tensioner. Refer to
Automatic Belt Tensioner i n this group.
