MONTHS
• Flush and replace engine coolant, (if not done at
84 months).
• Check engine coolant system hoses and clamps.
• Change engine oil.
• Check exhaust system.
• Lubricate steering linkage.
• Lubricate propeller shaft universal joints and slip
splines.
• Lubricate front suspension ball joints (See Note 1).
• Lubricate manual transmission gearshift control.
• Inspect front wheel bearings (4x2).
• Lubricate parking brake ratio lever pivot.
• Inspect brake linings.
• Inspect brake hoses.
• Rotate tires.
120,000 MILES (193 OOO KM) OR A T 96
MONTHS
• Replace air cleaner filter.
• PCV Valve, check and replace as necessary (See
Note 2).
• Replace ignition cables.
• Replace spark plugs.
• Check engine coolant level, hoses and clamps.
• Change engine oil.
• Replace engine oil filter.
• Check exhaust system.
• Replace fuel filter.
• Lubricate steering linkage.
• Inspect front wheel bearings (4x4).
• Lubricate propeller shaft universal joints and slip
splines.
• Inspect brake hoses.
• Rotate tires.
Inspection and service should also be per­
formed anytime a malfunction is observed or
suspected.
NOTE 1: Original equipment ball joints are
permanently lubricated. I f they become dam­
aged and require replacement, the replacement
seals should be serviced at these intervals.
N O T E 2: This maintenance is recommended
by Chrysler to the owner but is not required to
maintain the warranty on the P C V valve.
