ONFIGURING THE
Command Usage
Due to a switch chip limitation, the input rate limit can only be enabled or
disabled globally for all interfaces on the switch. However, the output rate
limit can be enabled or disabled for individual interfaces.
Command Attribute
• Rate Limit – Sets the input or output rate limit for an interface.
Default Status – Disabled
Default Rate – Fast Ethernet: 100 Mbps, Gigabit Ethernet: 1000 Mbps
Range – Fast Ethernet: 1 - 100 Mbps (at a resolution of 1 Mbps),
Gigabit Ethernet: 1 - 1000 Mbps (at an resolution of 8 Mbps)
Web - Click Rate Limit, Input/Output Rate Limit Port/Trunk
Configuration. Set the Input Rate Limit Status (for all interfaces), or set the
Output Rate Limit Status (for selected interfaces), then set the rate limit
for individual interfaces, and click Apply.
