46. Remove the IPU lid (see page 12-140).
47. Disconnect the A/C compressor power cables (A)
f r o m the stay.
NOTE: W r a p A/C compressor power cable switch
insulating tape (B).
48. Check for continuity between body g r o u n d and the
terminals (C), (D) and (E) individually.
Is there 350 kQ or higher?
YES—Replace the A/C compressor driver (see page
21-99), then go to step 49.
NO—Replace motor power cable (see page 12-148),
then go to step 49.
49. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
50. Reconnect all connectors.
5 1 . Reinstall the IPU lid (see page 12-140), then turn the
battery module switch ON (see page 12-4).
52. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
53. Reset the M C M (see page 12-6).
54. Start the engine, and let it idle 5 minutes.
55. Turn the A/C o n , then set the temperature to 72 °F
(22 °C).
56. Check for T e m p o r a r y DTCs or DTCs w i t h the HDS.
Are any Temporary DTCs or DTCs indicated?
YES—If DTC P0AA6 is indicated, t e m p o r a r y short
detect at the high voltage parts, then go to step 1. If
any other T e m p o r a r y DTCs or DTCs are indicated,
go to the indicated DTCs t r o u b l e s h o o t i n g .
NO—Troubleshooting is complete. •
57. Reinstall the IPU lid (see page 12-140), then turn the
battery module switch ON (see page 12-4).
58. Update the M C M if it does not have the latest
software, or substitute a known-good M C M
(see page 12-8).
59. Check for T e m p o r a r y DTCs or DTCs w i t h the HDS.
Are any Temporary DTCs or DTCs indicated?
YES—If DTC P0AA6 is indicated, t e m p o r a r y short
detect at the high voltage parts, then go to step 1. If
any other Temporary DTCs or DTCs are indicated,
go to the indicated D T C s t r o u b l e s h o o t i n g .
NO—If the M C M was updated, troubleshooting is
complete. If the M C M was substituted, replace the
original M C M (see page 1 2 - 8 ) . •
