11. Remove the starter cables (A) f r o m the starter, and
remove the harness c l a m p (B) f r o m the c l a m p
bracket (C).
12. Disconnect the solenoid harness connector (D).
13. Remove the bolt securing the radiator hose c l a m p /
harness c l a m p bracket (E).
14. Remove the transmission g r o u n d cable (F).
15. Remove the dipstick, then remove the starter (A)
and starter gasket (B) f r o m the torque converter
housing.
16. Remove the nuts securing the shift cable bracket
(A).

17. Remove the spring clip/washer (B) and the control
pin (C), then separate the shift cable end (D) f r o m
the control lever (E).
18. Disconnect the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid
valve A connector, A/T clutch pressure control
solenoid valve B connector, and 4th clutch
transmission fluid pressure switch harness
connector (C), and remove the harness cover
m o u n t i n g bolt (D).
