Active Control Engine Mount (ACM) System
D T C T r o u b l e s h o o t i n g ( c o n t ' d )
DTC P16C7: Rear Engine Mount Actuator
Control Circuit High Current
DTC P16C8: Front Engine Mount Actuator
Control Circuit High Current
NOTE: Information marked w i t h an asterisk f } applies
to the front active control engine m o u n t (ACM) actuator.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC w i t h the HDS.
3. Wait 10 seconds.
4. Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs w i t h the HDS.
Is DTC P16C7
and/or P16C8*
indicated?
Y E S — G o t o step 5.
8. Reset the PCM w i t h the HDS.
9. Do the PCM idle learn procedure (see page 11-340).
10. Wait 10 seconds.
11. Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs w i t h the HDS.
Are any Temporary
DTCs
or DTCs
indicated?
Y E S - l f DTC P16C7 and/or P16C8* is indicated,
check for poor connections or loose terminals at
the engine mount control unit and the active
control engine m o u n t (ACM) actuator, then go to
step 1. If any other Temporary DTCs or DTCs are
indicated, go to the indicated D T C s
troubleshooting.
NO—Troubleshooting is complete. •
NO—Intermittent failure, system is OK at this t i m e .
Check for poor connections or loose terminals at
the engine mount control unit and the active
control engine mount (ACM) actuator. •
5. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
6. Replace the engine mount control unit (see page
11-323).
7. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
