R e g u l a t o r V a l v e B o d y D i s a s s e m b l y , I n s p e c t i o n , a n d R e a s s e m b l y
1. Clean all parts t h o r o u g h l y in solvent or carburetor cleaner, and dry t h e m w i t h compressed air. Blow out all
passages.
2. Inspect the regulator valve body for scoring and damage.
3. Hold the regulator spring cap in place w h i l e r e m o v i n g the stop bolt. The regulator spring cap is spring loaded.
Once the stop bolt is r e m o v e d , release the spring cap slowly so it does not pop out.
4. Check all valves for free m o v e m e n t . If any fail to slide freely, refer to valve body repair (see page 14-294).
5. Coat all parts w i t h ATF during assembly.
6. A l i g n the hole in the regulator spring cap w i t h the stop bolt hole, then press the spring cap into the valve body,
and tighten the stop bolt.
7. Install the servo valve w i t h the new O-ring, and the 3rd accumulator piston w i t h the new O-ring.
