DTC P0602: PCM (PGM-FI system)
Programming Error
NOTE:
• This DTC is indicated w h e n update is not completed.
• Do not t u r n the ignition switch OFF w h i l e updating
the PCM. If y o u turn the ignition switch OFF before
c o m p l e t i o n , the PCM can be d a m a g e d .
1. Do the PCM update procedure (see page 11-6).
2. Check for T e m p o r a r y DTCs or DTCs w i t h the HDS.
Is DTC P0602 indicated?
YES—Replace the original PCM (see page 11-219).
NO—The update is complete. •
DTC P0603: PCM Internal Control Module
Keep Alive M e m o r y (KAM) Error
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC w i t h the HDS.
3. Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs w i t h the HDS.
Are any Temporary DTCs or DTCs indicated?
YES—Update the PCM if it does not have the latest
software, or substitute a k n o w n - g o o d PCM
(see page 11-6), then recheck. If the s y m p t o m /
indication goes away w i t h a k n o w n - g o o d PCM,
replace the original PCM (see page 1 1 - 2 1 9 ) . •
NO—Intermittent failure, system is OK at this
t i m e . B
