Transmission Housing
A T F Filter R e m o v a l / l n s p e c t i o n / l n s t a l l a t i o n
1. Remove the three 6.0 m m bolts securing the ATF
filter cover (A) and ATF pipe (B).
2. Remove the ATF pipe f r o m the ATF filter cover, and
remove the ATF filter (C) f r o m the cover.
3. Clean the ATF filter, then check that it is in g o o d
condition, and is not clogged. Replace the ATF filter
if it is clogged or d a m a g e d .
4. Install the ATF filter w i t h the new O-ring (D) in the
filter cover, and install the ATF pipe in the cover,
then install t h e m in the transmission housing.
5. Secure the ATF filter cover w i t h the t w o bolts (E),
then secure the ATF pipe w i t h the bolt (F).
