bfd slow-timer

This command configures the BFD periodic slow transmission interval for
BFD Control packets. Use the no form of the command to return the slow
transmission interval value to the default.
Syntax
bfd slow-timer receive-interval
no bfd slow-timer
receive-interval—The slow transmission interval. Range 1000–30000
milliseconds.
Default Configuration
The default receive-interval is 2000 ms.

User Guidelines
The argument receive-interval refers to the slow transmission interval for
BFD Control packets. This timer is only used when the BFD echo function is
enabled. When the BFD echo mode is enabled, the rate of BFD control
packets is kept low as the echo function is used to detect forwarding failures.
