Returning the Server to Operation

These topics explain how to return the Netra Server X5-2 from Oracle to operation after you
perform service procedures.
Step Task
1. Install the PSU duct if you serviced these components:
■ USB board
■ Motherboard
■ PDB
■ PDB signal cable
2. Install the air duct if you serviced the components in Step 1 or
these components:
■ DIMMs
■ LED board
3. Secure the drive cage if you serviced the components in Step 1,
Step 2, or the drive backplane.
4. Install the fan tray if you serviced the components in Step 1,
Step 2, Step 3, or these components:
■ Drive signal cable
■ Drive power cable
■ DVD SATA cable
5. Install the top cover if you serviced the components in Step 1,
Step 2, Step 3, Step 4 or these components:
■ Fan modules
■ PCIe cards
■ Battery
■ USB flash drive
6. Install the server into the rack.
7. Connect power cords to the server.
8. Power on the server by one of two methods.
9. Verify the installation of the component, if you serviced
the components in Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, Step 5, or these
components:
