Servicing SAS Drives

SAS drives are used for nonvolatile storage of information. The drives are located across the
front of the chassis, behind the filter. See

Replace a faulty drive.
Remove a drive as part of another component's

service operation.
Add additional drives.
Decrease the number of existing drives.
