Install a Fan Module
1. Consider your first step.
If you are replacing a fan module, remove the faulty or obsolete fan module first, then return

to this procedure,
If you are installing a fan module as part of another component's removal or installation
■
procedure, go to
2. Align the fan module to the location where it installs into the fan tray.
The green band is on the top of the fan module and the arrow points to the rear of the chassis.
Lower the fan module into the fan tray.
