Network Management Troubleshooting Guidelines
Follow these guidelines when experiencing difficulty connecting to the server through its NET
MGT port.
Ensure that the state property of the /SP/network Oracle ILOM target is set to enabled.
■
For example:
-> set /SP/network state=enabled
Verify the integrity of the physical connection between the NET MGT port of the server, the
■
network, and the management device.
Ensure that at least one of the appropriate network services are enabled in Oracle ILOM.

Use an industry-standard network diagnostic tool, like IPv4 Ping or Traceroute to test the
■
network connections between the server and the management device.
