Film Calibration

WHEN TO BE
The film calibration has to be performed in following cases:
PERFORMED
Before Smart TH Profile Calibration. See section 2.4.
During the compliance film calibration. See section 2.5.
After TH replacement.
At least each 5000 films (adjustable maintenance action. Refer to chapter 9
Maintenance).
In case of a drift of the maximum density.
During the troubleshooting procedure.
PURPOSE
Determination of the correlation between control of the thermal head and
corresponding densities on film.
REQUIRED TOOLS:
None
REQUIRED TIME:
10 min.
NOTE:
The film calibration is by default executed automatically at every 5th new film package:
This automatic film calibration can be activated/deactivated in the Key-operator menu
"1. Change settings - 5. Image quality - 1. General - select default for film calibration
(default = ON)". Also the calibration frequency (Default = every 5 film packs) can be
entered there.
