2.5.4.1
Performing Film Calibrations
NOTE:
The film calibration has to be performed two times for each tray, where DT2M films are
available.
(1) Select menu "Service Engineer
Tools - Enter Service Command
session - 6 Calibration - 1 Film
Calibration".
(2) Select the input tray with DT2M
films: The calibration film as shown
in Figure 12 is printed and the
measured Dmax is shown.
INPUT TRAY:
FILM CALIBRATION OK
Dmax = 3.69 (XR310)
Measured Dmax
(3) Repeat the film calibration a 2
time.
(4) Repeat the film calibration two
times for the second input tray, if it
keeps DT2M films, too.

Performing an internal Densitometer Calibration
(1) Select menu "Service Engineer Tools - Enter Service Command session - 6.
Calibration - 2. Internal densitometer calibration".
(2) Follow the instructions on the browser pages. Refer to Figure 13.
See also NOTE below.
(3) Enter the measured densities in the browser window.
(4) Select "Accept changes".
NOTE:
Use this tray for internal densitometer calibration, where DT2M films are available.
