Performing a Film Calibration after the internal Densitometer Calibration
NOTE:
The film calibration after the internal densitometer calibration has to be performed one
time for each tray, where DT2M films are available.
(1) Select menu "Service Engineer
(2) Select the input tray with DT2M
(3) Repeat the film calibration for the
2.5.4.4
Performing a Print Head Calibration followed by two Film Calibrations
NOTE:
The print head calibration has to be performed 2 times, if films of width 10" and 14" are
available.
INSTRUCTIONS
(1) Clean the thermal head with a cleaning tissue lightly moistened with Isopropyl -
alcohol. The last cleaning action must be carried out in one way.
(2) In the browser pages - menu 'Service Engineer Tools - Enter Service Command
session' select '6. Calibration - 3. Print Head Calibration'.
(3) Follow the instructions on the browser pages. Refer to Figure 15. See
IMPORTANT note next page concerning tray selection.
(4) Perform two film calibrations for this tray, where DT2M films are loaded – if both
trays keep DT2M film, perform it for both trays. Refer to section 2.5.4.1.
