Many modalities have been tested with the printer. For several of the tested modalities
specific parameters have to be set at the printer. This is documented in the
"Connectivity Release Document".
IMPORTANT:
(1) Check via Interface Status Report, whether the modality which shall print at the
Drystar Axys is tested and released.
(2) If a connectivity release document for the modality – printer connection exists,
read this document before installation.
NOTE concerning Interface Status Report and Connectivity Release Documents:
The up-to-date interface status report lists all modalities, for which the connectivity to
any Agfa HealthCare device is tested and released.
The ISR (Interface Status Report) is available on MEDNET - HealthCare Library -
General Info - Connectivity & Application - To Agfa - Application Info - Agfa
ISRxyz.pdf (only via Intranet – not via Internet).
The ISR also lists the Connectivity Release Document numbers.

Specific connectivity information for the DRYSTAR AXYS can be found in the
Connectivity Release Documents.
The Connectivity Release Documents are available on MEDNET (Intranet and
Internet), Imaging Library - General Info - Connectivity & Application
Not all modalities that are tested for Drystar 4500 (M)/ 5500 / 5503 / 5300 / 5302 are
also tested for Drystar AXYS. As the controller part for all printers is more or less
identical, except behaviour regarding film sizes and output tray, modalities that are
tested for Drystar 4500 (M)/ 5500 / 5503 / 5300 / 5302 can also be connected to
Drystar AXYS.
The reader should always refer to MedNet to ensure that they are working with the latest copy of the document.
