Creating an IPv6 interface using EDM

Use the following procedure to create an IPv6 interface.
Configuration — System
Identifies a physical interface or a logical interface (VLAN).
For a VLAN, it is the Ifindex of the VLAN.
Specifies the IPv6 address interface identifier, which is a
binary string of up to 8 octets in network byte order.
Specifies the length of the interface identifier in bits.
Specifies a text string containing information about the
interface. The network management system also sets this
string.
Identifies the Virtual LAN associated with the entry. This
value corresponds to the lower 12 bits in the IEEE 802.1Q
VLAN tag.
Specifies Unicast, the only supported type.
Specifies the MTU for this IPv6 interface. This value must be
same for all the IP addresses defined on this interface. The
default value is 1280.
Specifies the media-dependent physical address. The range
is 0 through 65535. For Ethernet, this is a MAC address.
Specifies whether the administration status of the interface
is enabled (true) or disabled (false). The default is enabled
(true).
Specifies whether the operation status of the interface is up
or down.
Specifies the time (3600000 ms) that a neighbor is
considered reachable after receiving a reachability
confirmation.
Specifies the RetransmitTime, which is the time (3600000
ms) between retransmissions of neighbor solicitation
messages to a neighbor when resolving the address or when
probing the reachability of a neighbor.
Specifies the multicast status as either True or False.
