the area of any obstructions.

Check the tampers for proper installation and damage.

Enter the Diagnostics menu, and then navigate to:
Output device diagnostics > Motor tests

Find the motor (Transport), and then touch Start.
Does the motor run?
Step 9
Check the motor (staple finisher transport) for proper installation
and damage. Make sure to reseat the motor connector on both
ends.
Is the motor properly installed and free of damage?
