Mailbox wrong bin exit service check

Check the mailbox for proper installation, and then check its
paper path. See "Procedure before starting the mailbox
service checks" on page

Enter the Diagnostics menu, select Output bin quick feed >
select bin, and then select Single or Continuous.
Does the problem remain?

Check the mailbox diverters and bottom diverter spring for
misalignment and damage.
Are the diverters properly installed and free of damage?

Reinstall or replace the mailbox diverters. See

Output device diagnostics > Sensor tests > Mailbox

Find the sensor (Diverter).
Does the sensor status change while toggling the sensor?
Step 5
Reseat the sensor cable, and then check the sensor for
misalignment and damage.
Is the sensor properly installed and free of damage?
Step 6
Reinstall or replace the sensor. See
