Check the HPT front transport belt gear for wear and damage.
Is the gear properly installed and free of damage?

Check if the punch rotates with the knob and gears.
Does the punch rotate with knob K1 and the gears?

Enter the Diagnostics menu, and then navigate to:
Output device diagnostics > Sensor tests > Horizontal paper

Find the sensor (HPU).
Does the sensor status change while toggling the sensor?

Reseat the sensor cable, and then check the sensor and actuator
for misalignment and damage.
Is the sensor properly installed and free of damage?

Reinstall or replace the sensor. See
removal" on page 876.

Output device diagnostics > Motor tests > Finisher

Find the motor (HPU), and then touch Start.
