LP 100R Laser Printer Operator's Guide

Warning Messages

Warning messages are displayed when specified maintenance functions are to be
executed by either the printer operator or a SATO service representative.
In most cases the printer will continue to run after displaying one of the following
messages. To delay taking the suggested action, however, may cause some
degradation of the print quality.

Suggested action
Call service to schedule maintenance (200,000 pages
have been run).
Call service to schedule maintenance (400,000 pages
have been run).
Call service to schedule maintenance (800,000 pages
have been run).
Replace the cleaning blade (see
Cleaning blade has a limited number of pages left.
Make preparations to replace the unit.
If a "prepped" standby developer unit is available:
a. Remove the old unit from the printer.
b. Install the new developer unit in the printer.
If a "prepped" standby developer unit is not
available, call service to schedule maintenance.
Developer unit has a limited number of pages left.
Make preparations to replace the unit.
1. If a "prepped" standby developer unit is available,
remove the old unit from the printer and retain it
for the SATO service representative.
2. Insert the replacement developer unit in the
printer.
If a "prepped" standby developer unit is not available,
call service to schedule maintenance.
Starter has a limited number of pages left. Make
preparations to replace the unit.
