PCL5e Options
1. Press the Up or Down triangle on the Emulation Settings menu to move the
selection bar to the to the PCL5e function.
2. Press Enter, which causes the following menu to display:
Margins – Indicates how the print margins should be used:
Standard:

The PCL5e Emulation should normally be configured to operate using this
setting, which enforces the defined PCL5e unprintable area and maximizes
laser jet compatibility.
Extended:
-
This setting should be used when the application demands that the
PCL5e Emulation be able to place print data outside the defined
printable area.
This setting remains the unprintable area around the page that permits
an application to print edge-to-edge and top-to-bottom (excluding the
Dead Zone).
