LP 100R Laser Printer Operator's Guide
Configuration – Enables you to recall a previously created configuration,
store a new configuration (using a numeric identifier), remove an existing
configuration (by removing the identifier without removing the
configuration), or edit the currently active configuration.
Important Note: The Edit option provides access to all printer
configuration elements (via the Printer Setup menu). By editing the
currently active configuration, you can create a new configuration and (if
desired) save it as a new stored configuration.
Files – Enables you to manipulate fonts, logos, and formats stored on the
printer's hard drive.
It also allows you to install updated user files on the printer's hard drive
from USB flash drives.
Files procedures are contained in
Reset – Resets the printer and the METO-Logic Controller.
Note: Although included as part of the Supervisor Menu, this function is
reserved for use by service personnel when troubleshooting a potential
printer problem.
Cancel Job On Jam – Allows you to specify how a job is handled in the
event a jam occurs during processing.
Cancel Job On Field Error – Allows you to specify how a job is handled in
the event a field error is detected during processing.
Password Enable – Allows you to either enable a password to protect the
printer settings that you (the supervisor) are responsible for maintaining,
or to disable password protection if it is no longer desired.
Change Password – If password protection is enabled, it allows you to
change the current password to protect the printer settings that you (the
supervisor) are responsible for maintaining.
Time – Time allows you to specify the time to be displayed on the TDU as
either System Time, Up-Time (the length of time power to the printer has
been turned on), Daylight Savings Time, or GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
Network Time – Tells the controller whether to use its Local System Time
or synchronize with a Time server.
