4. If the jam occurred at the exiting end of the tractor unit, separate the last
usable printed page at the perforation, allowing it to drop onto the stacker
table.
5. Remove the jammed document from the printer.
6. Close all open tractor covers. Raise the tractor unit by lifting up on the tractor
unit handle.
Note:
Raising the tractor unit before closing the tractor cover will damage the
cover.
If the paper printed after eliminating the paper jam is dirty, pull out the EP
holder and clean the bottom plate.
When you clean the bottom plate, be careful of the edge of paper
separator fingers on the OPC cartridge.
7. Press Clear and release the forms.
